Commemorating Mexico's victory over France in 1862 in a battle at Puebla, Mexico, this is an important annual hispanic celebration.  Denver touts theirs as the largest in the US.  The festivities start downtown with a "Celebrate Culture" parade and then move to the Civic Center Park.  The activities include arts and craft vendors, ethnic foods, dancing, live salsa and mariachi bands on several stages, a carnival midway, and many others.
