Kinetics Conveyance is a zany, outdoor event with races over land and water accompanied by live music. Participants construct self-propelled, dynamic (kinetic) floats and costumes. There is also a separate 5K footrace around the Boulder Reservoir the same day. A Kinetic Parade and Kinetic Ball are held a few days earlier.
