Named as one of the top Shakespeare festivals in the US by TIME magazine in 1992, the Colorado Shakespeare Festival continues its tradition of excellence with performances in the Mary Rippon Outdoor Theater and at the University Theater, Main Stage.  The Outdoor Theater is situated in a beautiful natural setting puntuated by the dramatic Flatiron mountains, a signature feature of Boulder.  There are also opportunities to picnic on The Green to the accompaniment of live Renaissance music and to stroll in the Shakespeare Gardens.
