Telluride Ski Resort
Telluride Ski Resort is located in the scenic San Juan mountains and spans the two towns of Telluride and Mountain Village. Telluride is a National Historic District -- a gold and silver mining town with Victorian charm. Nearby Mountain Village is a upscale, modern community with a variety of excellent facilities that serves as the center for the area's skiing.
South West Colorado 76 miles northeast of Cortez on CO 145 (spur road): 371 miles from Denver, surrounded by the Uncompahgre National Forest.

From Denver, drive West on I-70 243 miles to Grand Junction; turn South on US 50 and drive 62 miles to Montrose; continue South 26 miles on US 550 to Ridgway; turn right onto Route 62 and drive 23 miles to Placerville; turn South on CO 145 and drive 17 miles to Telluride. Driving time 7 to 8 hours (there are shorter routes through the mountains that may be unpassable in the winter).
Area Transportation: Free gondola between Telluride and Mountain Village. Both towns offer free bus service.
Air Transportation: Telluride Regional Airport (world's second highest commercial airport).
